Specialist medical advice for pregnancy
Baby on the way? Are you planning a pregnancy? Do you have a medical problem or are you on long term medication? Have you had a complicated pregnancy before? If the answer to any of these questions is yes, please consider a consultation.

Dr Lucy Mackillop BM BCh MA MRCP(UK) is a specialist in medical complications of pregnancy and the management of pre-existing medical problems during pregnancy. I can provide advice and support for women with any medical problem who are planning a pregnancy or who are already pregnant.

Pre-Pregnancy Advice
Pre-Pregnancy Advice I can help you prepare for pregnancy. I provide advice and support for women with pre-existing medical conditions, for example, high blood pressure, or a history of clots (DVT or PE). I also provide advice for women with a history of a medical complication in pregnancy, for example pre-eclampsia, and advise on the risk of this happening in the next pregnancy.

I believe careful planning prior to pregnancy leads to a better experience for women and their families and may improve the chances of a successful, healthy pregnancy.
